Images tab in Magento

1.       On the Product InformaIon page, select the Images tab.

2.       Click on Browse Files....  In the dialog box that appears, select one file to upload.

3.       Select an image to upload, and then click on the Open or OK buton in the dialog box.

4.       If you want the same image to be used for base, small, and thumbnail, you can move to the next step. If you want to use separate images for each of the three images, then click on Browse Files... and select more images.

5.       AGer you select all the images that you want for this Product, click on Upload Files.

The files will be uploaded to the Images page.

6.       Select the image you want for the base, small, and thumbnail images by clicking the radio butons.

7.       To exclude an image type, click on the radio buton in the top row for No Image. This means that wherever Magento would have used that image size, Magento will not display an image.

8.       Enter a Label for each image. This will be used as the "alt text" for that image.

9.       Click on Save And ConInue Edit.

10.   The Design tab is next on the menu. We will skip that tab because it is beyond the scope of this beginner's guide. Instead, proceed to the Inventory tab.
